Shaun Paul Cassidy was born twenty September 7, 1958. He is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. He is the eldest son of Oscar winning actress Shirley Jones and the second son of Tony Award winning actor Jack Cassidy.

Cassidy concentrated on stage acting for most of the 1980's and early 1990's. He appeared in Broadway and West End productions such as Mass Appeal, Bus Stop and Blood Brothers, with a half brother David for over a year on Broadway.



Shaun Cassidy grew up in Los Angeles and New York City in an Irish American family. Besides an older half brother, David Cassidy, he has two younger brothers, Patrick and Ryan Cassidy.

John Winston Ono Lennon, Oct. 9, 1940 to 8 December 1980 was an English singer-songwriter who rose to worldwide fame as one of the founders of The Beatles and Paul McCartney formed one of the most successful songwriting partnerships of the 20th century. Lennon revealed a rebellious nature and bitter humor in his music, his writing on film and in interviews, and was controversial through his work as a peace activist.

Lennon's father, a sailor during World War II, was often away from home, and sent regular pay checks at 9 Newcastle Road, Liverpool, where Lennon lived with his mother. Copperfield's mother was born in Jerusalem, Israel, while his paternal grandparents were Jewish immigrants from Russia, Ukraine today.
