Ramachandra Guha Profile

Ramachandra Guha was born 1958, is an Indian author, whose research interests have included environmental, social, political and cricket history. He is a fellow at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.



Guha then moved to Bangalore and started writing full time. He served as a Visiting Professor Sundaraja in Humanities at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in 2003.

Roy said in an interview to say that Guha was a cricket historian, who had missed boat.In 2009, Guha, several other renowned historians to sign a petition criticizing the function of the prestigious Nehru Memorial Museum and Library in Delhi.

The book explores the culture of people around the world, showing their diversity and threats to their existence. The royalties from the sale of this book goes to the indigenous rights organization Survival International.
