HTC announced the release of its latest Android-based phone, the HTC Wildfire. The phone comes with HTC Sense and integrates popular social networks.The phone is targeted towards young adults who actively share their lives on social networking sites. HTC Wildfire comes with an enhanced caller id that not only lets the user know the caller's name and phone number but also displays his/her Facebook status and birthday.
The phone is powered by a 528 MHz processor and weighs 118 grams.The 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen comes with pinch-to-zoom capability and has a 240x320 (QVGA) resolution. The phone has 512 MB of ROM and 384 MB RAM. The microSD expansion slot supports up to 32GB cards.The HTC Wildfire is expected to be available to customers across major European and Asian markets from Q3 2010.
